Vauxhall Corsa – Car Wars

I am often subject to whimsical views on cars, preferring the colour, size of the boot in direct corresponsdence to the amount of shopping bags I have, and how shiny the interior is. My boyfriend however, likes to know how quicly it accelerates, what the break power is, and hundreds of other technical issues that i don’t even bear thinking about. We originally had car wars, him having the old, pre 2000 version while i favoured the slightly shinier new (now not so new) post 2000 model. We both liked how economical it was with etrol, therefore saving pennies for other, … Read entire article »

Car Review – Hyundai Excel 1995, 1996, 1997, 1998, 1999, X3

This is a used car review for the Hyundai Excel X3 Sprint. A perfect first car that is great on fuel and cheap to fix. I purchased this car in 2007, 10 years after its manufacture in 1997. It had 150,000 km’s on the clock and was fair condition, inside and out. As a young driver, this car was purchased to commute to school and work. It is excellent on fuel around town and on highways at a speed of no more than 110 km/s. I once drove from the Gold Coast to Bundaberg (about 6 hours or 442 km’s ) in less than half a tank of petrol from a full tank. I owned this car for 3 years and I never had any major problems with it. I did have to … Read entire article »
