When purchasing light van tires your first concern should be safety.  Look for tires that perform well in the areas of handling, braking, and resistance to hydroplaning.  When you cut down your selection based mostly on these factors you can think about things like ride, comfort, and noise.  Keep in mind that the manufacturer’s warranty won’t always be a correct account of how you can expect the tires to wear.  Always make sure you read the fine print of the warranty thru carefully.  Usually the warranty for tires will be pro-rated so you will get a smaller replacement credit if you’ve got more miles on the tires.  Most warranties will only cover damage to the tire due to normal use conditions and will not cover damage caused by acute road perils.
