When you see the graphics of the new Grand Turismo you can’t argue with how realistic they look. When playing these types of games i could really go for one of the top of the range cars that I am racing with. Do the cars in games like this really have to cost you as much as it would first seem?

Before, when playing driving games I have never really found myself to be interested in cars at all but after playing some of the newer ones like Grand Turismo it is difficult not to see what people see in some of these fantastic cars. The graphics of these kind of games are usually the best out there but do they really beat the old games with much better playabillty. In ten years the games industry has been growing and with this growth comes the new graphics technology that you see when playing games such as this. I remember when I was playing Formula one on the N64 and I thought that was amazing and that was probably around about nine years ago now.

After loading up the new GT5 it is amazing to see just how far the graphics have come in such a short time span. Compared with the past consoles then yes the graphics are better but I still don’t believe you can beat the playabilty of the N64 and that might be because it was the main console for me when I was younger. It wasn’t until recently whilst playing one of the graphically stunning looking games that I decided I could really do with one of these awsome looking cars.

Are these games simply made to advertise all the top cars of recent years? Well of course they are! When playing the game you can choose from many different cars as well as picking the colour you want the car to have. In these types of games the graphics are so good you could really choose your next car as well it’s colour without having to leave the house. Fantastic!

As well as this, with hires like Audi contract hire for ridiculously small amounts of money a month, the cars you see in games can truly become your own.
